The largest industry enterprises: Avto­ komplekt (auto parts) and Avtonormal (fasteners and springs) Belebey plants, Beloretsk Plant of Springs and Bow Springs, NEFAZ (production of buses, tank trucks, trailers), Salavatgidravlika (hydraulic and pneumatic equipment), Pozhspetsmash (fire equipment), Tuymazy Concrete Motor­ Truck Plant, etc. Until 2017, the Bashkir Trolleybus Manufacturing Plant manufactured trolleybuses.
