AGIDEL
AGIDEL, a folk dance ensemble of the Neftekhimik Leisure and Creativity Centre in Salavat. Founded in 1962. In 1965, received the “people’s” title. Since 2013 — Honored Folk Collective of the RF. The repertoire consists of the Bashkir choreography classics, including: Zarifa, Podarok, Bashkir Cossack; dances of the peoples of the world: Pontazoo, Taymyr Souvenir, Ukrainian Suite; genre pictures: Timerbay Sons, Crow’s Porridge; dances of the Bashkortostan peoples: Muzhestvenny, Evening Games, etc. Toured Russia, Hungary, Germany, Italy, China, etc. Laureate of the Republican (Ufa, 1963, 1971) and All- Soviet Union (Moscow, 1977, 1985) festivals for amateur art groups; award winner of the International Dance and Music Festival in Namur, Belgium in 2003 and the F.Gaskarov Award of the Folk Dance Ensembles interregional festival in Ufa in 2008 (Grand Prix), etc.
