AGIDEL

AGIDEL, a film and photo club. Established at the Folk Art Centre in Ufa in 1976. In 1979, it won the title of “the National”. A. unites more than 60 film and photo clubs of the RB. Since the early 80s, A. has been producing animated films, short feature films, and documentary films. Since 1989, the RB Academy of Photo Art has been operating in the club. A. – a participant of the Days of the RB in Turkey (Istanbul, 2006), in Moscow (2007) and represents the RB at the UNESCO headquarters (Paris, 2008).  In  1979,  1984,  the  collection  of works of the club’s members was awarded with the bronze medal of the USSR Russian National Expo Centre (Moscow). Laureate of such international photo exhibitions as Kadr (Armavir, 1980; a silver medal), Europe (Barcelona, Spain, 1981; a gold medal), Territoriya Pobedy All-Russia photo exhibition (Yekaterinburg, 2009); All-Union Festival of Folk Art (Moscow, 1977); film Festival of Socialist Countries (Odessa, 1985), Film Festivals Unika (Tallinn, 1986), Luzhskiye Posidelki (St. Petersburg, 1997), Moskva Zlatoglavaya (Moscow, 1998; all – Grand Prix). It was awarded the diplomas of the USSR Russian National Expo Centre (Moscow, 1986), UNESCO (Paris, 2000; Rome, Venice, Florence; all – 2001).
