AIZUAK-BIY

AIZUAK-BIY, the leader of one of the clans of the Bashkir tribe Gayna. According to the Bashkir legends, he negotiated the conditions for the Gayna people joining the Czardom of Moscovy(ref. Accession of Bashkortostan to Russia). After the agreement was signed, he received a Zhalovannaya Gramota confirming his Russian citizenship.
