ALTYN SOLOK
ALTYN SOLOK (Golden Wild Hive), zoological wildlife reserve of 90.7 thous. ha in the territory of Burzyansky Raion. Organized to protect and restore the population of the Bashkir bee (1997). In 2012, it was included in Bashkir Ural Biosphere Reserve. Within the territory of A.S. there is Masim Mountain and a natural monument — Tukmak Clearing. The following plants, included in The Red List of the RB, grow here: Cypripedium calceolus, Stipa pennata, Melilotoides platycarpos, etc. It is inhabited by true otter, common bat, roller, Russian spirlin, European grayling, included in The Red List of the RB, as well as saker falcon, golden eagle, snake eagle, spotted eagle, peregrin falcon, apollo butterfly, included in The Red Lists of the RB and RF.
