THE ARSK STONE

THE ARSK STONE, recreation center, OOO. Located on the Belaya River in Beloretsk Raion, 18 km SW of the Beloretsk Railway Station. Opened in 1972 as an allunion tourist resort. Since 2002, it was part of ZAO Bashtur, and has had its present status since 2016. It has two winter buildings and summer cottages (total capacity of 300 guests), a gym, a summer sports playground, a hockey rink, a rental center for tourist and sports equipment, and an entertainment complex, a dining room, two bath facilities and other similar facilities, etc. There is also a tourist hostel in the Derevnya Novobelskoye (for 25 guests). Water sports/boating, mountain tours, horse trips and excursions to the local nature reserves and nature monuments are organized. Also, there are snowmobile trips and excursions around Beloretsk which are held. In 1975, for the first time in the country, winter and summer equestrian routes were opened, multi-day hikes are organized. In wintertime, an ice skating rink, a cross-country ski run, and snowmobiling and tubing activities are organized at the recreation center.
