ASINSKY MIRROR WATERFALL

ASINSKY MIRROR WATERFALL, a natural monument (1965). Located on the right bank of the Inzer River, 0.8 km from Derevnya Asy of Arkhangelsky Raion. It falls from the rocky ledge approx. 8 m high onto the bank (during flood — into the river) as a small waterfall, creating a mirror effect in the sun. Areas of hydrophilic mosses and hard water contribute to the deposition of lime tuff on the rock. Landscapes of the surrounding area are represented by broadleaf forests.
