ASSY (in translation from Bashkir — bitter, brackish), a natural monument (1965). Non-gravity mineral springs in the valley of the Tuz-Elga River (a tributary of the Inzer River). There are low (1.1— 3.4 g/l) and high-mineralized (16.8— 20.5 g/l) springs; sapropels occurs at the outlet. The water of the first group is medicinal table water, according to gas composition it is nitrogen water, temperature – 7°C; the second group is medicinal, balneological, nitrogen water, temperature — 15—15.3°C. The water from springs is used at Assy Health Resort. Drinking water was organized in mid 90s.
