BASY, APC, an agricultural enterprise. Specializes in the production and sale of grain, sunflower, sugarbeet, milk and meat. It is also engaged in construction and repair of residential houses, roads, schools, kindergartens, landscaping design. Located in Chekmagushevsky Raion of the RB; the central farm is in Selo Yumashevo. Founded in 1956 as B. Collective Farm, on the basis of which, in 1988, Mayak and B. collective farms were founded; since 2000, it has united such APCs as Mayak, Mars, Igenche, Avantguard and OOO Savady. It comprises: 7 multifunctional and 7 crop farming crews, 5 dairy farms, 2 farms for young cattle breeding, 6 mills, a grain reception unit (for 25 thous. t), grain dryers, 5 shops, etc. There are 650 employees (2018). The total land area of the company is 37.5 thous. ha, incl. 35.1 ha of agricultural lands, of them 24.8 thous. ha are arable lands. In the crop area structure, grain crops occupy 14.9 thous. ha, sunflower — 2, sugar beet — 1, feed cultures — 5.4 thous. ha. Output (Cwt/ha): grain crops — 51.7, incl. autumn­sawn rye — 43, barley — 54.85, wheat —54.5; summer barley — 52, oat —56.7, pea — 32.6. They have produced  (t):  grain  —   41,943,   sugar beet — 9,294, sunflower — 2,219. Average annual cow milk yield — 5,819 kg, average daily cattle weight growth — 722 g. They have produced (t): milk — 4,714, meat — 362. B. is licensed to produce pedigree grain seeds. Every year, up to 3,000 t of seeds of new breeds of crops is tested, introduced and sold. B. was awarded with the Business Elite Gold Medal (2014), The Best Enterprise of the Agro­Industrial Complex of the RB Gold Medal (2007), the 1st Class Diploma and the Gold Medal in the nomination The Best Breeding Techniques Applied to Breeds (cross­breeds) of Farm Animals and Poultry, Diploma of the RB Government (2013), recognized as the Best RB Farm in the Field of Elite Seeds of Grain and Leguminous Crops Production (2014).
