BASHAVTOTRANS, GUP (Ufa). It is the largest transport complex of the RB. It performs the carriage of cargo and passengers using public road transport on intracity, suburban, inter­town, inter­ regional and international routes. The Bashkir Production Group of Bus Terminals and Passenger Bus Stations has branches in major population centers of the RB. It was founded in 1921 as the Ufa Gub. Directorate of Local Transport, since 1930 the Bashkir Administration of Road Transport. Since 1955 Bashavtotrest Bashkir Road Transport Trust, since 1967 Bashkir Transport Directorate, since 1983 has its current name.
