BASHKIRIYA, park
BASHKIRIYA, a national park of federal value of area 82.3 thous. ha within the territory of Meleuzovsky, Burzyansky, Kugarchinsky raions. It is organized to protect the unique mountain forests of the Bashkir (South) Urals and Bashkir bee (1986). In 2012 it was included in biosphere reserve Bashkir Ural. Rivers Belaya and Nughush flow in the territory of the national park; within the territory of B. there are Utyamysh, Kibiz, Yamantau ridges, such natural monuments as Kuperlinsky karst bridge, Kutuk stow, etc, Nugush Reservoir, Yumaguzinskoye Reservoir. The relief is represented by ridge and rolling country. Relict broadleaf forests have been preserved in the territory of B., there are areas of mountain-steppe vegetation. Flora accounts for more than 761 species of higher vascular plants, including 27 relicts and 27 endemics. 49 rare plant species are included in The Red List of the RB, 16 of which are included in The Red List of the RF. 263 lichen species were found, of which 2 are included in The Red List of the RF (Leptogium burnetiae, Lobaria pulmonaria), 1 — in The Red List of the RB (Usnea wasmuthii); 230 species of cyanoparyotes and soil algae; 171 species of mosses, of which 8 are included in The Red List of the RB, 3 — into The Red List of the mosses of Europe (Pylaisiella selwynii, Diranum viride, Brachythecium geheebii). Fauna accounts for 32 species of fish, 9 — amphibians, 9 — reptiles, 232 — birds, 65 — mammals. 75 rare animal species are included in The Red List of the RB, 38 of which are included in The Red List of the RF.
