BASHKIR SODA COMPANY, AO (Sterlitamak). Produces chemical products (calcined soda, baking soda, caustic soda, white carbons, calcium chloride, polyvinyl chloride, soft cable plasticates, hydrochloric acid, dichloroethane, corrosion inhibitors, chlorinated paraffin waxes, polyethylene po lyamines, PVC films). Founded in 2013 by consolidation of OAO Kaustik, and Soda.
Soda, OAO. It was put into operation in 1945; since 1957, it was called Sterlitamak Soda Cement Combine. United Sterlitamak Cement Plant (founded in 1952) and Sterlitamak Slate Plant (1956); since 1975 it became known as S. The only producer of white carbon in the RF. The leader in the production of calcined and baking soda in the RF, as well as in the production of roofing materials in the RB. Awarded with the Order of the Red Banner of Labour (1966).
Kaustik, OAO. It was put into operation in 1964 as Sterlitamak Chemical Plant, since 1976 it became known as K. The tech nologies of obtaining branched mono carboxylic acids, watersoluble cationic polyelectrolytes, noncombustible cable plasticates, corrosion inhibitors of Vikor and Azimuth series were developed and introduced in the company for the first time in the RF.
