BASHKIR STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

M.AKMULLA BASHKIR STATE PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY. Founded in Ufa in 1967 under the name of Bashk. State Pedagogical Institute, since 2000 — the current status and since 2006 — the current name. The University comprises 8 departments (Bashk. Philology; Nature and Geography; Psychology; Social and Huma­ nities; Physics and Mathematics; Physical Culture; Arts and Graphics), Institutes of Additional Education; Historical and Legal Education; Pedagogics; Professional Educa­tion and Informational Technologies; Phi­lological Education and Cross­Cultural Communications; and the College of BSPU. Graduates are awarded the qualification of a Specialist, Bachelor and Master. Full­ time and distance learning training is available. There are postgraduate training programs, post­doctoral programs, and councils for defense of Doctoral theses. More than 130 textbooks, manuals and monographs are published annually at the University. The following papers are published: Pedagogical Journal of Bashkortostan, Vestnik of the M.Akmulla Bashkir State Pedagogical University journal, Bulletin of Research Work of the M.Akmulla Bashkir State Pedagogical University, The Auditorium newspaper, inter­universities digests: Culture and Education, Continuing Education System: School   —   Pedagogical   College   — Pedagogical University, and Scientific Notes of Department of Physics and Mathematics. Approx. 70 thous. specialists have graduated from the University by 2018. There is a monument to Akmulla on the territory of the University.
