BASHKIR BRICK

BASHKIR BRICK Group of Companies, OOO (Ufa). Manufactures ceramic, facing, and silicate bricks. It was put into operation in 1907 as Ufa Silicate Brick Plant, in early 1960s after merging with the Anhydrite­ Cement, Voronkovsky and Novikovsky gypsum plants (all – in Ufa) it was renamed to Ufa Building Materials Plant; in 1987, it was united with the Ufa Brick Plant (founded in 1927), since 2009 has its current name. It includes brick plants No.1 and No.5 (both – in Ufa), Tolbazy (Aurgazinsky Raion of the RB), Meleuz, Sterlitamak and Kabakovo plants (Karmaskalinsky Raion).
