BASHKORTOSTAN, a film studio. Located in Ufa. It was organized in 1990, in 2018 bears a name of A.G.Abdrazakov. From the beginning of the existence of the studio the documentary films were created: Ufa is My City (1999; script by M.S.Burakaeva, directing by R.A.Ismagilov, operator I.Kh.Galiullin), I Miss My Home- land (2002; script by R.T.Bikbayev, directing by A.G.Abdrazakov, operator Galiullin), Mustay Karim (2004; script by R.Z.Khantimirov, directing by A.I.Yuma gulov, operator R.M.Iskhakov), etc.
Since 1992, there began production of animated films: Zukhra and the Moon (2010), How the Moon and the Ural Mountains Were Born, The Adventures of Ural and Shulgen (both – in 2014), etc. In 1996 the short feature films were shot: The Glass Passenger and Two Distant and Near Winters. In 2000, the first fulllength feature film was created titled Rainbow over the Village, in 2002 – feature film The Seventh Summer of Syumbyul, in 2005 – feature film The Longest Childhood, in 2011 – The 13th Round, etc.
The film studio received a prize at the International Film Festival of Turkic Countries in the nomination of For The Discovery of New Cinematography (Istanbul, Turkey, 2001). In 2008, the Bashkir Videoprokat State Unitary Enterprise was made part of the studio. Since 1990, 180 films and newsreels have been shot.
