BASHKORTOSTAN, a television and radio broadcasting company, GUP. Estab­ lished in November 2001. Performs collection, processing and analysis of information products; reception, broadcasting, production and reproduction of TV and radio programs, film, video and audio products; organization of TV and radio broadcasts, etc. Located in Ufa. B. consists of the following subsidiary companies: Bashkir Satellite TV (BST), the Kuray TV channel, the Tamyr children’s TV channel, the Ashkadar, Yuldash and Sputnik 107 FM radio stations.
