BASHNEFT–UNPZ

BASHNEFT–UNPZ, a branch of PAO ANK Bashneft. Refines oil and hydro­ carbon gases with the production of fuel of various grades. Founded in 1935 in Chernikovka as the Ufa Cracking Plant; in 1938, the 1st batch of gasoline was produced on VDU­1 (vacuum distillation unit), in 1939 the 1st phase was commissioned; since 1940 Ufa Refinery, since 1994 OAO, since 2012 has its current name. The production of phosphorus catalyst and hydrogen using steam conversion in the presence of iron­ containing catalyst, catalytic cracking of vacuum gas oil, diesel hydrotreating unit L­24­5, processing of high sulfur petroleums were mastered in the company for the first time in the USSR. Awarded with the Order of Lenin (1948).
