Main activities include: oil & gas geological exploration works, planning and feasibility reports, estimation of hydrocarbon reserves, planning of oil and gas fields development, const ruction, installation, repair, building, and road works; also, development and manu facture of experimental prototypes, and the organisation of new equipment implemen tation, processes, algorithms and programs in the spheres of production, gathering, treatment and transportation of oil and gas, construction and workover of oil and gas wells, integration of information and com munication systems, etc. B. has discovered 190 oil fields in the territory of the RB, provided scientific grounds for the optimal use of the wells density grid, in oil fields, and hydraulic fracturing technology. The company has proposed new project solutions for the further stimulation of producing reservoirs. They have created instruments for the deep penetration surveying of wells and reservoirs (compact downhole pressure gauges, thermographs, etc.). Highly efficient compound systems for protection of pipe lines and oil field equipment against cor rosion have been tested and recommended for implementation as part of industrial operations. They have patented about 800 inventions, and also proposed and implemented the industrial cluster method of oil field development.
