BASHREVKOM (Bashkir Military Revolutionary Committee), the supreme authority of the ASBR. Established in March 1919 in place of the Provisional Revolutoonary Committee of the Bashrepublic, which had been formed on February 21st, 1919 in Selo Temyasovo of Orsky Uyezd of Orenburg Gub. at the All­Bashkir Military Congress. Since April, B. was located in Saransk; since August – in Sterlitamak. On February 22nd, 1919, when B. started its operation, the Bashkir Government on the territory of ASBR ceased work. B. reported to the Russian Central Executive Committee and the RSFSR Council of People’s Commissars. Coordinated the work of three organizations: the Council of Commissioners of the Bashkir Military Re­ volutionary Committee (May–August 1919), Canton Military Revolutionary committees (since September 1919), and People’s commissariats of the ASBR. Organized the system of state authorities and held a mobilization session for the Red Army. On June 16th, 1920, the first team of B. was dissolved due to the disagreement with the Russian Central Executive Committee and RSFSR Council of People’s Commissars on the issue of the legal status of the ASBR as part of the RSFSR. On June 26th, the 2nd team of B. was formed. On July 25th, 1920, it was liquidated while its functions were transferred to the Bashkir Central Executive Committee and Council of People’s Commissars of the ASBR. Chairmen of the Military Revolutionary Committee of the ASBR: Kh.Yu.Yumagulov (since May 1919), A.A.Validov (since February 1920) and F.S.Mansyrev (since June 1920).
