BELORETSKOYE RESERVOIR
BELORETSKOYE RESERVOIR, on the Belaya River. The dam site is near the Beloretsk. Built in the 2nd half of the 18th century for water supply of the Beloretsk Plant. In 1957 it was revamped. Catchment area of the river in the crosssection of the water development — 1,720 km2, aver. annual volume of inflow — 353 million m3, full volume — 7.4 million m3; surface area — 1.48 km2, length — 7 km, aver. width — 0.21 km, aver. depth — 3.5 m. Composition of the water development: mediumhead earthfill dam (length — 800 m, crest width — 40—60 m, max. height — 13 m) with asphalt covering on the crest; water intake, pedestrian suspension bridge. It is operated in the cascade with the Tyrlyanskoye Reservoir.
