BENSTEN

BENSTEN, reinforcing mesh made of optical fibre  materials  impregnated  with a special polymer compound providing struc­ ture stability, high tensile strength and resistance against alkaline impact. Starting from 2015, the STEKLONiT Company, together with RUSCOMPOSIT (Moscow), have manufactured a reinforcing facade mesh “Bensten” of different grades of alkaline aluminium borosilicate glass fibres, and filaments, produced by fine weaving, using Warp­Knitting technology (density/tensile strength): “BENSTEN­125/1100”, “BEN­STEN­140/1400” (for interior finishing), “BENSTEN­150/1800”, “BENSTEN­160/2000” and “BENSTEN­320/3600” (for heat insu­ lation of “wet” facades).
