BERHOMUT (in translation from Bash kir — one collar), an arterian karst spring, a natural monument (1965), located 350 m S from Derevnya Khazinovo of Ishimbaysky Raion. It surfaces at the foot of Lasyntau Mountain. Fresh water (0.2 g/l), hydro carbonate calcium, temperature — 7°C. In 1973 it was capped, a conduit was laid in Sterlitamak. According to the legend, a local resident drowned with his horse in a nearby lake, the collar of the horse was later found in the spring.
