BIKBAYEVA, Alfiya Iskhakovna (23.11.1926,   Malmyzh   –   10.11.2014,   Ufa), Otorhinolaryngologist. Merited Acad. of the AS RB (1995), Dr.Sci (Medical Sciences) (1970), Full Professor (1971). Merited Master of Sciences of the RSFSR (1986) and BASSR (1976), Excellent Worker of Public Health of the USSR (1967). Awarded with the Order of the Red Banner of Labour (1971). After graduating from the BSMI (1949) she continued her career there until 1991, simultaneously, between 1966– 91 was Head ENT Specialist of the Ministry of Healthcare of the BASSR. Her scientific research is dedicated to etiology and pathogenesis of chronic nasal cavity disease, the role of viruses in the development of otogenic intracranial complications and frontal sinusitis, research of tonsilogenic intoxication in rheumatism.
