BIKBULATOV, Glimnur Khusniyarovich
BIKBULATOV, Glimnur Khusniyarovich [21.10.1925, Derevnya Yanagushevo of Ufimsky Canton of the BASSR (Mishkinsky Raion of the RB) — 16.12.1996, Ufa], Newscaster, Actor. People’s Artist of the BASSR (1979). After graduating from the Bashkir Theater Art School (1949), he worked as an actor at Burayevsky and Baymaksky kolkhoz-sovkhoz theatres, and at BSAT. Between 1957—97, he worked at GTRK Bashkortostan. He had a sonorous and penetrating voice and was called the “Bashkir Levitan”. He hosted informational, political and literary artistic programs, participated in many radio plays as a host and an actor. Between 1965—80, he postsynchronized Volga Region documentary in the Bashkir language (Kuibyshev Film Studio), between 1965— 91 — Soviet Ural (Sverdlovsk Film Studio). As an actor he showed his best talent in acute character roles: Kaziy (Kara Yozzar — The Dark-complexioned by G.Amiri and V.G.Galimov after the same name novella by M.Gafuri; debut, Burayevsky Kolkhoz-Sovkhoz theatre, 1950), Shagali (Zimogory by S.M.Miftakhov), Murov (Plum by A.N.Ostrovsky), etc.
