BULYAKOV, Florid Minnimullinovich (23.2.1948, Derevnya Bolshiye Shady of Mishkinsky Raion of the BASSR — 18.1. 2015, Ufa). People’s Writer of the RB (2013). Merited Art Worker of the RB (1993). Laureate of the RF State Award (1996) and RB State Award named after Salavat Yulayev (1994). Member of the Union of Writers of the RB. Graduated from the Birsky Ped. Institute (1973). Since 1969, Head of the Ervel musical folk dance ensemble. Between 1973—89, worked in the Druzhba (Selo Mishkino of Mishkinsky Raion of the BASSR), Pobeda (Birsk), Leninets, and Soviet Bashkiria (both – in Ufa) news papers. Author of the following drama works: Honeymoon (1989), Shooting Herd (1989), Forgotten Prayer (1994), Bibinur, ah, Bibinur! (1995), Polovetskaya Mystery (1999), etc; scripts for The Daughter of the Moon television series (2001, 2002; A.A.Nurmu khametov, director, GTRK Bashkortostan), feature film The Mystery of Arkaim (2006; B.T.Yusupov, director, OOO Vista Vision Studio), etc; and libretto for The Star of Love rock opera by S.A.Nizametdinov (2000). The works of B. are translated into Belarusian, Kazakh, Ukrainian, Finish, Chuvash and other languages.
