BURENIN, Aleksey Aleksandrovich (b.21.10.1985 in Ufa), Athlete. Merited Master of Sports (skydiving) of Russia (2013). Distinguished Athlete of the RB (2008). A trainee of the Specialised Children and Youth Sports Mountain Skiing School of the Olympic Reserve (Coach – A.N. Shikhalev), the Vozdushny Legion (Air Legion) Military-­Patriotic Parachute Club (G.I.Manayev). The World Champion (2011), Silver Medalist of the World Singles Championships (2013–14); the World Champion (2009), Silver Medalist of the World Cup (2008), Silver (2011, 2015) and Bronze (2005, 2014) Medalist of the World Team Para­-Skiing Championships. Silver Medalist of the World Cup (2010), Bronze Medalist of the World Singles Cup (2013); the World Champion (2008, 2010, 2012), the World Cup Winner and the European Champion (both – 2013), Silver Medalist of the Team Skydiving World Cup (2014). The World Junior Singles Para-­Skiing Champion (2005). Member of the Russian National Team (from 2002).
