VALIULLIN, Rim Abdullovich (b.15.10.1950 in Oktyabrsky), Geophysicist. Associate Member of the AS RB (2002), Dr. of Engineering (1996), Full Professor (1998). Merited High School Worker of the RF (2012), Merited Inventor of the RB (1998), Merited Worker of Higher Vocational Education of the RF (2002). Laureate of the RB State Award  in Science and Technology (2019), laureate of I.M.Gubkin Award (2006). Awarded with the Order of Salavat Yulayev (2017). At the same time since 2015 Academic Secretary of the Department of Earth Sciences and Oil & Gas Technologies of the AS RB. On graduation from the BSU (1977) he has worked there, since 1994 as the Dir. of the GeoTEK Research and Production Company (Ufa). His research activity is dedicated to issues of geophysical control over oil field development. V. has developed a non stationary temperature logging technology for well initiation, operation and workover.
