MEDICAL AND HEALTH EXERCISE HOSPITAL, the republican provides medical services for sportsmen (including children), as well as the medical rehabilitation of the population. Located in Ufa. Opened in 1952. It consists of a branch in Sterlitamak, sports medicine, restorative medicine and rehabilitation, consultative and diagnostic departments, a day in­patient clinic for rehabilitation of patients. Since 1988, the hospital has been housing the World Club gym, which was the first gym in Ufa and among the first in Russia. The gym was complete with Swedish equipment. Since 2009, it has also housed the regional Health Centre. In 2018, it had about 140 employees, incl. 80 MDs.
