GAZIYEV, Idris Mudarisovich (b.21.4. 1960, Selo Kurmanayevo of Aurgazinsky Raion of the BASSR), Singer (tenor). Candidate of Sciences (History of Arts) (2009). People’s Artist of the RB (1993) and RT (2002), Merited Artist of the RF (1999) and BASSR (1989). Laureate of the RB State Award named after Salavat Yulayev (1998) and Award named after G.Salyam (1990). Graduated from the USIA (1986), Russian Institute of the Advanced Training of Art and Culture Workers (Moscow, 1996). Between 1986— 2010, he worked as a Soloist at Bashk. Philharmonia, simultaneously since 2001 — as a Teacher at USIA. He possesses a soft voice of wide range and warm delicate timbre. G.’s performing art is distinguished by excellent vocal technique, bright artistry, and spirituality. The singer’s repertoire includes the vocal music of Bashkir, Tatar, Russian and foreign composers.
