GALIN, Fanur Zufarovich (1.11.1947, Selo Krasnaya Gorka of Nurimanovskiy Raion of the BASSR – 27.11.2017, Ufa), Organic Chemist. Associate Member of the AS RB (2012), D.Sci. (Chemical Sciences) (1993), Full Professor (1999). Merited Master of Sciences of the RB (1999). Graduated from the BSU (1970). Since 1972, he worked in the Institute of Organic Chemistry, simultaneously, since 2006 – in BSU, between 2013–17 Academic Secretary of Chemical and Technological Sciences Department of the AS RB. Scientific research covers the analysis of chemical transformations of natural terpenoids and aspects of directional synthesis of their biologically active analogues.
