Zubairov, S.Kudash and others were among the madrassa’s students. The madrassa was closed in 1918. In 1919, the 2nd grade school for males was opened in conjunction with the madrassa. G. was located in the 2nd Grand Mosque building. Since 1908 it has had its own 3‑storey stone building (modern address: 5, Ulitsa Chernyshevskogo). Since 2002, the Russian Islamic University is located in this building. The madrassa’s building is a historical and architectural monument. The commemorative tablets on it are dedicated to S.Babich, M.Gafuri and G.G.Ibrahimov.
