GALYAUTDINOV, Ishmukhamet Gilmutdinovich

GALYAUTDINOV, Ishmukhamet Gilmutdinovich (1.1.1948, Derevnya Suramanovo of Uchalinsky Raion of the BASSR — 10.10. 2015, Ufa, buried in his homeland), Linguist. Associate Member of the AS RB (1995), Dr. of Letters (1992), Full Professor(1994). Merited Worker of Culture of the RF(2005) and BASSR (1986). After graduating from BSU (1969), he worked at the Institute of History, Language and Literature. Between 1993—2006 – at the AS RB (since 1996 – acting Academic Secretary of the Department of Humanities), since 2000 – at USAA (until 2010 – its Rector). Since 2011 – Editor‑in‑Chief of journal Problems of Oriental Studies, simultaneously since 2014 – worked at the BSU. His scientific work was associated with archaeography, textology, study of the problems of historical development of the literary Bashkir language and children’s folklore. Between 2004—06 – the President of the Society of Orientalists of the RAS.
