GANIYEV, Rivner Fazylovich

GANIYEV, Rivner Fazylovich (b.1.4.1937 in Selo Tazeyevo in Ilishevsky Raion, BASSR), Mechanical Engineer. Acad. of the RAS (1991), Merited Acad. of the AS RB, Dr. of Engineering (1968), Full Professor (1969). Awarded with the Order of the Badge of Honour (1999), the 4nd Class Order for Merits to the Fatherland (2008). On graduation from the UAI (1959) worked in P/B No.100 (Ufa), since 1964 — in the Ukr. SSR. Since 1978 he has lived and worked in Moscow at the same time being a Sci. Supervisor for the Oil Recovery Research Institute (since 2001) and for the Oil Chemical Mechanics Centre (in 2002—05), both located in Ufa. His research activity is devoted to non‑linear wave mechanics of multi‑phase systems, development and integration of wave technologies in industry. G. has developed the theory of resonance phenomena in presence of non‑linear spacial oscillations of solid and deformable bodies, non‑linear oscillations of multi‑phase systems, etc.
