PUBLIC CATERING

PUBLIC CATERING, the total of enterprises engaged in the production of culinary products, flour confectionery and bakery products, their sale and catering organization. The types of P.c. enterprises: restaurant, bar, cafe, canteen, and diner. Restaurants, cafes and bars combine the production, selling of products and organization of catering with the organization of leisure and entertainment for the consumers. The most famous restaurants are Shchepka, Dubrovsky, Imperia, and Amazonka; bars and cafes – 108 teapots, Place, and Tryntrava. In summer, there are seasonal catering enterprises, also used as a place of leisure. The program of development of trade structures provides for expansion of fast food network (KFC, Burger King, McDonald’s). In Ufa, there are food production facilities, producing food for schools and babies. In the territory of the Republic, a network of roadside P.c. enterprises is developed. There are bistros, cafes and fast food restaurants at trade and service complexes; restaurants or cafes are available at the hotels. Catering facilities are organized for employees at many industrial enterprises. The Culinary Specialists Association and the Restaurateurs and Hoteliers Association are established in the RB.
