CHALIAPIN'S EVENINGS IN UFA, the International Festival of Opera Art. Held since 1991 at the Opera and Ballet Theatre, since 2003 – the international festival. The initiator of the festival is the Chairman of the Ufa Interregional Center G.A.Belskaya. Duration — 3—12 days. Among the participants are the soloists of leading Russian opera houses, soloists and conductors from around the world. The first festival was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the debut of F.I.Chaliapin in Ufa, the 10th festival (2001) — to the 100th anniversary of the creative cooperation of Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theatre and the National Opera of Ukraine. Within the framework of the 15th festival (2016), the 1st International competition of vocalists named after F.Chaliapin was held; the photo exposition F.I.Chaliapin. Pages of Creative Work, created using the materials from the Theatre Museum named after A.A.Bakhrushin (Moscow), took place.
